Can a sunscreen protect a billboard?

Nivea Sun created a billboard build of photo-sensitive beans. The artwork was designed with little spheres that reveal different colors when exposed to UV rays, and the sunscreen was use the paint the definition of the drawing, and to create shades in the colors. Plus, the billboard was only visible during daylight.
